Step 1 Submission Process Manuscripts must be submitted via email to: [email protected] Only original and unpublished work will be considered. Manuscripts should not be under review with any other journal or conference. The submission must clearly include the author’s name, designation, institutional affiliation and contact details for correspondence.
Step 2 Manuscript Formatting File format: MS Word (.doc or .docx). Font: Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.5. Margins: 1 inch on all sides. Structure (recommended): Title Page Abstract (150–250 words) Keywords (4–6) Introduction Methodology Results Discussion Conclusion References (APA 7th edition)
Step 3 Length of Manuscripts Research Articles: 3,000–6,000 words (including references). Review Papers: 2,500–5,000 words. Short Communications / Case Studies: 1,500–3,000 words.
Step 4 Figures and Tables All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and accompanied by clear, descriptive captions. The source of any reproduced or adapted material must be properly acknowledged. Ensure that figures are of sufficient resolution for online publication.
Policy Plagiarism Policy A maximum of 10% similarity is allowed (excluding references). Submissions with higher levels of similarity may be returned for revision or rejected. Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for appropriately citing all sources.
Review Peer Review Process All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts on originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation and contribution to the field. The review outcome (acceptance, revision, or rejection) is typically communicated within 4–6 weeks.
Charges Publication Charges Publication in the Nilgiri Journal of Research & Innovation (NJRI) is free of cost. No Article Processing Charge (APC) is collected for publishing the paper. Note: Minimal processing charges may be collected to cover administrative and technical processes (such as manuscript handling, checking, formatting or communication). The exact amount, if applicable, will be notified to authors online before processing their manuscript.
