Principles guiding the review process, research integrity and ethical responsibilities of all parties involved in NJRI.

Policy

Peer Review Policy

The Nilgiri Journal of Research & Innovation (NJRI) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review system to ensure the quality and integrity of published research.

  • Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process.
  • Review Workflow: Submission → Initial Screening → Peer Review by (typically) two reviewers → Revision (if required) → Final Decision.
  • Manuscripts are evaluated on originality, relevance, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation and contribution to the field.
Ethics

Research & Publication Ethics

NJRI is committed to upholding the highest standards of research and publication ethics. All stakeholders—authors, reviewers and editors—are expected to adhere to ethical practices in line with international norms.

  • Integrity of Research: Plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data is strictly prohibited.
  • Authorship & Disclosure: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and acknowledge sources of funding or support.
  • Reviewer Responsibility: Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, provide objective and constructive feedback and avoid any conflict of interest.
  • Editorial Responsibility: Editors are responsible for maintaining transparency, fairness and integrity in editorial decisions and for handling any ethical concerns impartially.
