FOR CLEAN AND GREEN
We, the Nature Club in Nilgiri College of Arts and Science is a committed group of people who loves and cares the nature. It aims at inculcating an appreciation of nature among students and encouraging them to participate in a variety of conservation initiatives. The club been active in the campus since its establishment and has annual membership of students, teachers and non teaching staffs.
Its efforts include educate the students and sensitize them to the opportunities and challenges in addressing environmental issues, organizing an annual tree-planting day, organises awareness programmes, and celebrates days of importance related to environment and biodiversity. The motive of the club is to create a socially committed future generation. The tag line of nature club is ” Clean and green”.
The prime intension of the nature club is to promote the environmental awareness among the students which extends beyond classroom knowledge. Conservation of resources, understanding the Ecological problems and taking a step ahead to do something for the environment is the need of the hour which can be effectively spread across the society through youth. Thus, NATURE CLUB provides a platform to learn and exhibit the talent and novel ideas to improve and protect our Mother Earth.
MAKING FUTURE FOR NATURE
It is an active group of students, faculties, other staffs of Nilgiri college of Arts and Science including nature lovers, keen bird-watchers, ecologists, foresters, nature photographers, wildlife enthusiasts, environmentalists, academicians. The club is meant for educating and making awareness on conservation of Nature, Forests and Environment.

This vision is to spread the message of natural conservation through mass education and develop a eco-friendly community in the campus.

Our mission is to create a green force of nature lovers who can zealously work for preservation and enhancement of the prestigious natural resources of the campus.

The College has always been committed to inspire the students to think differently about the environment and encourage them to be eco friendly and to do whatever they could do to protect the nature. The major objective is to create awareness about environment, to promote a green campus and to encourage eco friendly lifestyle.
