COVID Task Force & Help Desk

Asper the UGC order (D.O. No.F.14-1/2021 (CPP-11) dated on 10th May 2021, the Nilgiri College of Arts and Science is planning to constitute a COVID Task Force and Help Desk to ensure all its stakeholders' physical and mental wellbeing. The Task Force will extend possible support and help collectively with students, staff, and their family members to address the unprecedented situation.

Following are the measures proposed to initiate in the college to ensure the stakeholders’ wellbeing, engagement, and satisfaction.

  1. Constitution of COVID Task Force and Help Desk
  2. Promotion of COVID appropriate behavior such as Sanitization, Wearing Mask, Washing Hands with Soap, Social Distancing, etc. (under NSS, NCC, and YRC)
  3. Arranging Counsellors and Mentors for mental health while staying home (Mentors will call and inquire about the wellbeing of students and their families. The women cell will ensure the service of Counsellor for needy stakeholder. It will also prepare a database based on the feedback)
  4. Arranging Mentor for Physical health while staying home (Sarial Varghese)
  5. Motivating and Engaging activities by Club/Cell/Department Forums (activities will coordinate by Skill Bank and Students Government)
  6. Vaccine Registration Help Desk for stakeholder and public (by NSS, NCC, and YRC)
