Department of Commerce and Management of Nilgiri College of Arts and Science aims at maintaining academic excellence and equipping students with the skill necessary to face the challenges of the business world., the department focus to meet the challenges of emerging scenario in the twenty first century and to optimally exploit the new opportunities in the field of commerce and management. The department of Commerce and management was started in September 2012 and has been offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs that are industry and academic oriented, incorporating all the attributes applicable for a career and life.
We provide conceptual clarity and experiential learning atmosphere to the students in the field of Commerce and Management to update the knowledge base of the students with current trends in the field, to prepare the students for the job market and make them industry-ready, to impart knowledge, innovative practices and community service – offering socially responsive programs supportive of national and global development, and finally to create an ambience for providing high quality, affordable, innovative, value based and research oriented commerce education with experiential learning process for an overall personality development and leadership qualities.
