In a heart-warming event organized by the Happiness Centre at Nilgiri College, Padma Shri awardees Cheruvayal Raman and Harekala Hajabba inaugurated the "Happiness Lunch" on the occasion of the International Day of Happiness. The event was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of happiness and how it can be achieved through small gestures, like sharing a meal. Speaking at the event, Padma Shri Cheruvayal Raman said, "Happiness is something that we all seek, but it is not something that can be bought with money. It is something that we need to create for ourselves and for others. The 'Happiness Lunch' is a wonderful initiative that will help bring people together and spread happiness." Padma Shri Harekala Hajabba, who is known for his efforts to promote education among underprivileged children, said, "I am honored to be a part of this event, which is all about spreading happiness. We need to remember that happiness is not a destination, it is a journey. We need to find joy in the small things and appreciate what we have." The event was attended by students, staff, and members of the local community, who all came together to share a meal and spread happiness.
