Nilgiri College of Arts and Science held its grand psychology fest, "Taisai," on October 10th and 11th, successfully attracting 170 registrations from colleges far and wide. This year's event was especially meaningful as it centered around Mental Health, aligning with World Mental Health Day on October 10th. The fest kicked off with 10 conference and academic sessions on the 10th, providing deep discussions on the theme. The following day, the campus hosted 12 fun and challenging competitive events. Dr. Rashid Gazzali, Managing Director of the college, inaugurated the fest, underlining the importance of prioritizing mental well-being. After two days of engaging sessions and fierce competition, the overall champion's trophy went to Don Bosco Angadikkadavu, who dominated the events and racked up a score of 50 points. The "Taisai" fest not only gave students a place to test their psychological knowledge and skills but also ensured the community spent time thinking and talking about the critical topic of mental health. It was a huge success in blending serious academic learning with spirited intercollegiate competition.
