“நெல் அறுவடை” Program Held at Nilgiri College of Arts & Science Nilgiri College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) organized the “நெல் அறுவடை” (Paddy Harvesting) program on its campus to create awareness about agriculture and traditional farming practices among students. The event witnessed active participation from students and faculty members. During the program, students took part in paddy harvesting activities and learned about the importance of rice cultivation, farmers’ efforts, and sustainable agricultural practices. The hands-on experience helped students understand the value of food production and respect for nature. Faculty members guided the students and explained the significance of agriculture in daily life. The event encouraged students to stay connected with traditional practices and rural culture. The program concluded successfully, leaving students with valuable learning experiences and a deeper appreciation for farming and farmers.
