In an innovative celebration of Teacher's Day, Nilgiri College of Arts and Science, Thaloor, handed over key administrative positions to students for the day, allowing them to experience leadership firsthand. Organized by the Nilgiri Student Government (NSG), the event aimed to honor teachers while empowering students to take on significant roles within the college. The highlight of the day was the appointment of Muhammad Shanid, a postgraduate scholar in MA English, as the college's Managing Director. Taking on the role of Principal was Mufeedha Jasmin, a 3rd-year B.Com CA student, while other crucial positions across various departments were filled by enthusiastic students. This symbolic gesture not only celebrated the contributions of educators but also gave students an opportunity to demonstrate their leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding of college administration. The event fostered a sense of responsibility and collaboration, with students working alongside staff to ensure the smooth running of the institution.
